Dr. Carson Aune
Board-Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP®)
Dr. Carson Aune is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP®) with an extensive background in sports science and rehabilitation. Growing up as a four-sport athlete in Oakes, North Dakota, he earned collegiate scholarships for basketball and track and field, later competing as a javelin thrower at the University of Mary.
After sustaining a significant stress fracture that went undiagnosed for three years, Dr. Aune experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of chiropractic care. This transformative experience inspired him to pursue a career in chiropractic, eventually earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University.
Dr. Aune’s clinical approach is rooted in his commitment to treating the “whole” person, integrating sports medicine techniques with individualized care to maximize patient performance and recovery. In addition to his CCSP® certification, Dr. Aune holds a Titleist Performance Institute Medical 3 certification, allowing him to provide specialized care for golfers and athletes of all levels.
Residing in Silver Spring, MD, with his wife, Rebecca, and their three rescue poodles, Dr. Aune enjoys life as a licensed foster parent and aspiring long-drive golf competitor. Off the field, he’s a dedicated Washington Nationals and Capitals fan.
